My answer would be no - truth is a very dynamic concept that changes as we change!. Unlike fact, truth is a personal understanding!. Just ask a crazy person (I've been there) about whether or not something is true!. They can only answer the truth through their own ability to perceive!.

The truth for me has changed dramatically over the course of my life and will no doubt continue to!. 20 years ago I believed I was a complete loser with no talent and nothing to offer the world!. I've accomplished so much since then and feel as though I could do anything now!. That's my truth!.

Since truth is knowledge that is confirmed by reality it depends what aspect of reality is being confirmed to say if it's immutable or not!. If I ask if it's raining the truth could be yes or no but that truth is a perishable since it deals with something that changes!. Some truths are atemporal since they tell with aspects of reality that do not change!. A good example would be 2+2=4, which is an immutable truth!. The desire to make all truth immutable is a hangover from Plato's dream of static universals!. Not that there are not immutable truths underlying reality but not all truths are!. yea to imply such a broad timeline to truth will make it limited as to what truths are implied!. In the definition of true which is in accordance with fact; that agrees with reality; not false!.

yeah it has to change!. As our perspectives, rules, and facts change through our intellectual evolution, the 'truthes' of many things will evolve with that same evolution!.

For instance, befor the 15th century, it was a truth that the earth was flat!. Because it was believed by humans that the earth was flat!. When it was discovered that the earth was not flat, the truth adapted to be that the earth was spherical!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Truth is a much misunderstood word !. Like the common man`s understanding of Love!. We use the word Love across the length and breadth of the meaning!. A one night stand to some flirting to deep attachment to surrender to God !.!. in one breath we use the cliche Love!.
Truth cannot be easily understood!. Eternal truths relating to the physical universe are somewhat understandable !. But truth relating to creation , self and the soul etc are difficult concepts !. Reality is composed of Atoms which are made of energy which is always changing!. Truth is just a word that has lost it's meaning!. In wordly sense, truth is what was actually observed / known / told etc and any altered presentation of such fact would mean Untruth!.!.

The Hindu vedic perception (about which I am more familiar) says "Truth is one, sages call it variously!.!." (Ekam sath vipraha bahudha vadhanthi!.!.)!.!. so would other religions say of the ultimate unchanging entity that is cause of the creation, sustenance and dissolution of all that is!.!.

So a religious person will always "think" that Truth is immutable in the sense their religion tells them!.!. While a scientific person would think differently!.!.

Atom was thought to be immutable for sometime till it was found to be otherwise (capable of division!.!.)!.!. so it ceased to be immutable!.!. and no more a truth in fact!.!. all material things and forces are ever changing!.!. even energy into mass and vice versa!.!.

But about the religious / spiritual Truth, we have very feeble perception except a belief in what was told to us!.!. For, the formless holy spirit, supposed to be the master of the universe is not to be perceived by the instrumentalities of our senses!.!.!.

Again as the Hindu (Yajur) veda says "which the words fail to express and the mind fails to find (perceive)!.!." (yatho vaacho nivarthanthey apraapya manasaa saha!.!.)

when the spiritual truth itself is thus outside the domain of our perception / cognition, how can we vouch to its immutability!.!.!?

Truth can change, it never stays the same!. Nothing is in a constant state of the same, even the smallest thing invisible to the naked eye has changed!. Truth is different to everyone though, but to me it has the power to change!. One day that truth could be true, but then the next day it changes into a different truth!. Yes!. The laws of nature such as gravity, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, are all examples of this!. The creator of life established these laws!. It only makes sense that truth in regards to morality are also set in place by the same creator!. Truth about life, death and what happens after we die can be based on only one truth!. Yes, I do!. Yes -- or it isn't truth, but your perspective -- or your understanding which of what is which changes as you change!. We want to become the unchanging, then perhaps we can perceive the Truth, to see in all manners that can be!. A whole man can Grasp Truth, which is a WHOLE!.
