Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have to say compassion!. That sounds flimsy and fey but I really value compassion because otherwise I would be too tough on people!. I have to remind myself that it is easy to make mistakes, to be wrong, to be in need of help!. It seeks to delve deep into the psyche of the answerers, into the inner recesses of their minds, to find out what!? Perhaps to find out what they are really up to … but, not necessarily what they might be made of, which appears to be the matter of the questions but the remaining part of your question reveal all this, the true intention behind the inquiry!. What could be in the mind, behind the urge to know about other people so deeply, at the level of their desires, leaving nothing for an excuse!? Whatever defines me could be my desires but I would be most reluctant to admit this fact, as almost any other reasonable person would do the same!. I would say that I have a fear of exposition in my life!. My desire for secrecy therefore defines me, secrecy that signifies depth of a person, control and ability to keep oneself, one’s secrets!. You too might find that it is so hard for you to keep things secretive at this stage in you life, that before you know it all things become all too manifest in the face of stronger realities and truthfulness of a general life, and it imposition on the mind!. Your ego is made up of your own perceived strengths and weaknesses based on the opposite of how you view your external world!. For example, if you think someone is bad, this implies your ego thinks you are better, and vice versa!. If you see an external thing you like this creates internal desire because you lack the thing!. If you see something external you despise, this creates false internal righteousness that urges you to eliminate or destroy it!. I know for a fact that everyday is a gift and that I have no time for fear and sadness!. A lot of people are dead while breathing because they just don't know how to handle things!. There are some things which any sane person cannot condone- like pedophiles, rapists, psychopaths, terrorists, racists, ethnic cleansing, and etcetera!. On the other hand there are things which must be allowed to exist peacefully- like communal harmony, sexual freedom, cultural diversity!. I have always felt that much of the discontent and hatred in this world thrives because you are taught/ forced/ hypnotized not to tolerate certain things!. Such and such are immoral, this and that are blasphemous- there are far too many diktats- may it be religious, cultural or social- that tell us what to like and what not to like, what to accept and what to reject!.
