Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, there has always been a debate about that!. There have been roughly 1,000,000 people who were brought back to life after they had died!. Most people report that they were drifting up through a dark tunnel, toward a very bright light that doesn't hurt their eyes!. While they floated up, some say they re-lived their entire life, in just a matter of seconds!. Others say that they saw their family and friends that had already passed on in in the bright light, welcoming them!. A lot of scientists believe that all of that is just your brain shutting down!. Scary thought, huh!? But how can they explain this!? Some people said that once they got to the top, God himself was waiting!. Yet, through all of this, they say they felt no fear, only joy!. Then, God asked them if they were ready to come home yet!. Obviously, they all said no!. Then they fell back through the tunnel, and the next thing they new, they were in a hospital or wherever, alive and well!. So, are they making all of it up!? The righteous will dwell in a paradise and the wicked will dwell in a spirit prison, of darkness!. That could be termed a hell, but it is only temporary until the Christ returns and the resurrections of all will come forth!. After the resurrection and then the judgment by the Lord our spirit and body, called the soul of man, will be assigned to each eternal abode befitting our faith, works, and obedience to the Gospel!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Since the beginning of time the universe has had the potential to produce me!. The material that makes up my body has been floating around the universe for eaons, and finally came together to be me, fulfilling the potential that the universe had to engender me!. Once I'm no longer alive, the universe will have no more potential to engender me, so I can never exist again!. The reason for this is that the exact circumstances that brought me into being are so extremely unlikely to happen again that I can be certain that they will in fact never happen again!. As far as those that have faith and repent there is heaven, On that though Don Piper was declared dead in a head on car crash and talks about what he saw A Baptist Minister came upon the crash and felt that he had to pray for the "dead guy", a very strange thing for a Baptist!. So he got in the crushed car (the body was still crushed in the car) and started to pray and then sang the hymn "What a friend we have in Jesus" and when he got to the part that says "because we do not take everything to God in prayer" Don started to sing along!. Apparently the minister had some problems convincing the ambulance and police that "the dead guy is singing"!.
