Question: Do you know that you know, and how do you know that you know!?

yes, it depends on the subject!. but by using logic and tools observations!. you can obtain certainty as long as you are very careful with what you say you know!.

like alot of statistics are used to demonstrate false conclusions!. but truly you can only take a statistic for exactly what it is!. like some might say that statistically the animal that kills the most people per year is the most dangerous animal!. but that might not be the case really, it may be a scorpion or something that if you can see it, it is not really dangerous, since it won't hunt you, but many people might accidently step on them!. whereas not that many people get killed by polar bears, but you really wouldn't want to be in a room with one!.

so you need to be really careful and deliberate with the words you use to say what you know!. and you need to be really picky with your requirements of whether you know something or not!.

i think it is fairly common for people to say they know things, whereas in truth they only think, or believe, knowing demands that you are certain, because there can be no other possible alternative!.

scientific methodology is designed for knowing!. but logic on its own can suffice!. einstein didn't use experiment to make his discovery!. he learned from others who perhaps had, but relativity was not experimentally tested until much after he had discovered it!.

but you will notice that science is very deliberate with its wording, and does not claim further than it can explain, and clearly and openly identifies its limitations and is prepared for refinement!.

things will get refined but most of the important parts of science will never change!.

Newtons laws of gravity were refined when einstein came into the picture!. but they were not wrong!. they were just!.!. imprecise and did not work in every case such as gravity bending light whereas light has no mass!. but still he was not wrong, the concept needed refining!.

so you can know, the way you know you know is because you know how you came to know and you know that that method allowed for only one possible conclusion!. and you worded carefully what it is exactly that you know!.

maybe i didn't do your question justice!. it's a good question!. the answer could be infinitely complex, if we would start talking about logic and fallacies!. but i think perhaps the key is knowing the difference between must, could, might, seems!. must is the only one that is knowledge!. and even if you memorized something i don't consider that knowledge, because you haven't absorbed why it MUST be, you just made a memory of something and trusted that the source made sure it must!. unless you know it must and why it must you don't know, you only think or believe!.

but for some things i think you can pass on 'must' because the evidence is so overwhelming that probablity you would be false is insignificant, so though it wouldn't be a must, it would a so almost certainly that you might as well call it certain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know things!. Sometimes I realise that I know them and sometimes I don't
I realise that I know some things because it may be a fact!. Water is made of H2O and I realise that I know this fact!. I realsie that I know this fact because I just typed it and am looking at it on the screen, and because it's confirmed by science!. Of course, belief of things is only a part of a tapestry that we add to and changes with time, as Michel de Montaigne said!. Our view of reality now will be markedly different from people living 500 years into the future!. I realise that I know water is made of H2O, but I may not be aware that water isn't truly H2O; I still realise that I 'know', but I may not realise that was I know is wrong and this can only be confirmed by an absolute truth/absolute fact!.

(Just use a thesaurus to replace a repetitive word and the statement's not so tricky)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I know, I know one thing for certain and that is that I know nothing, that's a quote by the way but I'm lazy and didn't feel like making it look like a quote anyway to the real question!.

It seems like your using circles that can just keep going, but once you have a start and the next part then you don't really need the rest!.

So I know that I know, because if I didn't know then how would I know!? So if I do know then I have to either not know or know, but then againb I could not know that I know, or I could know that I not know!. I guess it depends on what I'm knowing or not!? Confused yet!? No!? Good cause I got more!.

So if I know that I do know then it's possible I don't know how I know, that I don't know or that I do know!.

Or maybe if I never knew I didn't know, but I knew how I didn't know because I knew I didn't so that explains how I know how I don't know, but!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. tired yet!?

Good cause you know what!? Writing all that took absolutely no thought whatsoever, and I'm assuming the thing you wrote didn't either!. Good day!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

To answer your question you must know what is our universe based on!. Our universe is based on unlimited changing events and each event is an expression of a certain meaning explanation in order to reach knowledge perfection which is the goal of universe changing movement and this is knowledge definition, so when you feel self completion during your thinking process that mean you are understand and knowing a new meaning of knowledge!. Now did you know how you know !? Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know that I know because I know, and I know that I know because wait I just answered this question!. I know why you said how do I know what I know twice!. It's because you meant how do you know that you know and how do you know that you don't know!. I know that because I am smart and intuitive!. Oh wait, I read the question wrong!. I guess I don't know as much as I thought I did! (That damned 20% reading comprehension rate is kicking my a$$!)Www@QuestionHome@Com
