In Europe, it would be labeled as heretical and burned along with those who possessed it or had it in their possession as it would have contradicted the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church at that time, as well as what was believed to be true by the science of the time!. Many of the terms and phrases used in the encyclopedia would be unintelligible to those attempting to read it!. As the major super powers we consider to be such today did not exist then, one must wonder who you would be sending it to and if you would send it to them in their language!? (No USofA, Russia, China and the Far East were still very much a mystery to Europeans and the individual nation states in Europe were busy fighting one another, India was not well advanced, Australia was not yet colonized, the Americas had not been colonized yet, etc!.) If it was written in Japanese and Chinese, they might show some interest but again, it would be so far removed from what they understood that they might refuse to accept a majority of what it contained!.
