Question: Which is worse: being hated or being pitied!?

I, myself, would rather be hated then pitited!. I don't want anyone to have pity for me!. I don't think it's acceptable for ME!.!.!.how about you!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Being pitied is the worst!. People try to be kind and considerate, yet you can read it in their eyes that they are thinking, "What a completely hopeless and pathetic idiot this person is!." It is like they are trying to clean up an idiot child that just crapped in it's best clothes!. With hatred, you know where you stand and that you have made an impression on some one who regards you with a modicum of respect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hatred denotes being extremely passionate about your emotions!. There is a fine line between love and hate!. Both can be equally powerful!. Being hated can sometimes mean that you are very connected to the person hating you!.

Pitied means as you said, someone feeling sorry for you!. This usually has no emotions attached to it!. Therefore the person isn't connected to you!.
