Yes the self is defined, created, known by the stream of words we use when we think!. Our awareness in the beginning is like a dog's awareness!. We are aware of our environment but not aware of our awareness of awareness!. It is only later when we have start thinking completely in words that we become aware of our awareness, our self!. Now the self is more than just awareness of being aware but that type of awareness is only possible with a self that reflects on its own words!. As we grow up we express valuations of ourselves to ourselves that become, for lack of a better word, the unconscious!. The unconscious can be thought of as the sink hole of the self!. It's were all old thoughts, opinions, and expressed attitudes that we have verbalized to ourselves sits!. The self is build from the old language use of ourselves thinking about and evaluating ourselves!. The self is a bridge across time holding our current thoughts and the long forgotten thoughts of yesteryear and it only exists because of language!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Often times yes, but sometimes no!. Merely created or used of languages are sometimes just impersonating some other or created languages are in someways intentionally expressed with some other different schemes that mislead the other or even oneself!. Maybe it could be just that temporary moment that those stream of words could have been existed!. Yet we can't definitely define oneself by the heck of it though!. It could be really just a spur of the moment or whatever reason those usage of languages were in its purpose!. It is not accurate enough to define self on such basis with that kind!.
But we are quite sure somehow that it's rather in one's deeds that one can mostly define or makes up one's real self though!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Language creates the world we live in!. Without it, we cannot identify ourselves or the world around us, and therefore cannot make the separation between self and world!.

Interestingly enough, it is the very act of separating ourselves from the world around us that cause so much strife in our lives!. We forget that we are all from the same interconnected web of humanity, that each action we engage in affects someone else, whether near or far, and that nothing we do is done in isolation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We become our "selves" as we learn language!. The new neural pathways that are created at that time are enormous!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it depends on whether everything you think about yourself can be articulated into a word!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
