Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Because
Philosophers are cool and interesting!.
The Bible is so so boring!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Philosophers do try to debunk the work of other philosophers!. You just don't see it because there aren't many serious philosophers, and philosophers generally don't feel like they have some sort of divine mandate to make the world believe silly things!. also, that discussion may take place in circles of which you are not a member!.

also, you get all your philosophy from that "holy" book, so any challenge to your philosophy will seem like an attack on your book!. Even if it isn't an attack on the Bible directly, you think everything in the Bible is true, so you will take any disagreement as an attack!.

Philosophy is false!. The Bible is false!. Only the present moment is true!. The Bible is only true if you are living it in the present moment!. Philosophy is only true if you are living it in this one moment!.
The past is over it no longer exists but as a memory, The future has not happened it is only imagined it has not occured!. So what is left!? Only this one moment which is now for all of eternity!.

Did not Jesus himself say that "You will see the kingdom of God before this life ends!.' Life cannot exist outside the present moment!. If it ends it is because you are not present for it!.

also he said Truly only a child shall enter into His kingdom!. Watch children how they are so present they forget even themselves!.

Forget that you are and dont worry over defending a book!. And dont worry that philosophy is bad or good!. The tree of Good and Evil is the mind!. THE MIND, let go of your mind you will free yourself of good and evil and be in the present moment!. let go of your thinking, And just be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm unaware of any lasting hostility between biblical scholarship and philosophy!. All modern philosophy finds its methodological roots in scholasticism and theological argument, even if the subjects have shifted and the grounding has been switched to a non-theistic ontology!. BOKO!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am going against all the above answers!. The Bible is truth and you cannot dispute truth!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
