By some certain if strange default one has to suspect that it is true when looking more closely at this, that by some hitherto not perceived susceptiblity in that light, we have not found a charm or an immunity against it!.

Perhaps we all in some measure at some time do just that -- look for occasions to be offended!. And by that, perhaps all of us wind up being the effects of somone else's intents and purposes; that if we are given to suspect offense forthcoming, whose characteristics we know to be precise and therefore predictable to occur and have no provision to accord a different expectation that provides immunity against an inevitable sensitivity or an innoculation to what appears omnipresent, then in effect we 'are' looking for occasions in our lives to be offended, yes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that I don't look for them, I just see them when they happen!. I do see what you mean though, I do look for things in my life to be offended about!. So yes, I do and it is no way to live!. You don't always want to look for the negative in life, and that is what I do!. I often look for things that people say and turn them around!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Offended!? No!. But , provoked!? Yes!. Definitely yes!. Most of us surround ourselves with 'yes' people and that can be very boring!.!. Thus I do not mind opportunities where I can get provoked and I can come out with reaction!.
I must confess though that any provocation immediately makes my ego flare up and make me respond reactively!. But anticipated provocation gives me time to react proactively!. That is the difference!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On the contrary!. I look for the pleasant surprises of people being civil, even compassionate and caring!. I see no point in searching for the negatives in people!. I find for the most part people don't go out of their way to offend, and those who do, don't tend to be hard to find!Www@QuestionHome@Com
