some times sides of truth are black pain, so live and let it be my Tracy :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe in some sense what becomes the truth is totally distorted!. I once saw a show on HBO that a professor taught saying that history was pop culture!. Apparently Paul Revere wasn't the guy who rode all those miles saying the british were coming it was someone else!. Longfellow wrote the poem to make people more patriotic during the civil war!. (Sorry, I forgot to mention that is American History, it was all I had to make an example of) I forget the real guys name and I'm kicking myself in the behind for it but it wasn't as flashy as Revere!. And now in all the history books it says Paul Revere made that ride and it wasn't even him!. But the point is that what we considered the whole truth and what was taught to us as the truth was that Paul Revere did that long ride!. But its not the whole truth, it is only a partial truth since there was a long ride, it just wasn't Paul Revere who made it!. Seeing since the passing of the truth is and can be entirely faulty, it is hard to get to the whole truth!. So it is hard to say that it is best not to know the whole truth when it is logical to assume that what you are getting is never going to be the whole truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Like a lot of things it depends on the situation and what the truth is!.

If you look at things from their end results, a 'harsh' truth may be damaging in many ways!. Best to avoid I guess, but if you knowingly avoid it then I'd say we would be cheating ourselves out of something that is just reality!.

You won't know if the whole truth is good for you until you find it out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ignorance is bliss, but burying your head in the sand, doesn't address the issue!. You are either a part of the solution, or you are a part of the problem!. Apathy accomplishes nothing!. Knowing the whole truth may be uncomfortable, but without knowing all the facts, you cant fix it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I couldn`t come up with any examples of the whole truth, now that I thought about it!. There is always just that little bit more to know, or a new way of looking at something!. Great question- I`ve been wondering something like that with the Christians- would they want to know some truth that may disprove everything they believe in, like the http://video!.google!.co!.uk/videoplay!?doci!.!.!. thing!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
