alright, so for my homework i had to use the counterexample method to prove categorical syllogisms invalid!. i did some, but here are the ones i couldn't do!.!.could u please help me fill in the blanks!.!.the premises have to be true and the conclusion false!. here's one i already did so u have an example:
P1: Some school boards (S) are not organizations with vision (O)!.
P2: Some groups that oppose values clarification (G) are not organizations with vision (O)!.
C: Some school boards (S) are not groups that oppose values clarification (G)!.
after that, i rewrite it so it looks like this!.!.
P1: Some S are not O!.
P2: Some G are not O!.
C: Some S are not G!.
after that, i substitute other things in for the letters!.!.whatever i substitute in has to make sense of course and the premises must be true and the conclusion false, so here's wut i did:
P1: Some cats (S) are not fish (O)!.
P2: Some animals (G) are not fish (O)!.
C: Some cats (S) are not animals (G)!.
i don't even thinks that's right cuz the word "some" throws me off!.!.!.but could u help me with the other ones please!?
