I know how corny that sounds and I should be doing my bio hw, but its that sense of fullfillment you get, that sense of peace and contentment!. For others, it may be playing sports or accomplishing personal goals, and I think there IS meaning to that!. But personally, I feel like I need to do good - you know, create a small but life altering impact on someone else's life- in order to feel that contentment!. It's so much more prolonged and meaningful that achieving materialistic gains (that one second of happiness that everyone has probably been addicted to one time or another)!. Perhaps it could also be goals that you lay out for yourself to be completed!. In that case, I have a few goals that all acount for my deeper meaning of life!. 1) Visit an underdeveloped third world country and do some volunteer work there 2) Find a cure for genetic disorders 3) Make the world more environmentally friendly 4)Travel the world, experience different cultures, have fun 5) Make my mom happy!. 6) Love my family and friends!. 7) Make the world a better place!. 8) Be happy Everyone's meaning is a little different because everyone has a different purpose, so I don't think there is a real answer to that question!. It lies in the individual self!. I mean I'm pretty sure my brother's meaning of life is to beat Warcaft III and get loaded somehow!. We all come from a seriously long line of ancestors that reproduced and so here we are!. If we don't reproduce it's not the end of the world, just the end of this particular line!. So that's the purpose of life! The meaning of life!? I don't think there is one!. That dosn't mean I don't know what to do with the life I have!. I survive and help the people around me survive!. I gain knowlege that helps me survive and pass on knowledge so the people around me can can survive!. I think survival and procreating effectivley is a big enough problem without looking for other meanings!. I suppose all life is in the same position not just humans!.
