Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!. I would like to see myself as a just and righteous king that will create a fair and peaceful kingdom!. However, being human, all that power will just inflate my ego and cause me to punish those that disagree with me simply because I believe that I am always right!. I will gradually become a hedonist, sleeping with as much physically beautiful women, and totally an impatient jerk at the end of my life when I die of a stroke from eating too much expensive meat like T-bones and lobster!.

The best thing I can do immediately as a King is to ban the monarchy government and create a social-democratic society such as Norway, Denmark, and Sweden to spare myself and my people from hardship!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends where i would rule: if I were king in a country torn by civil war or war, I would make peace and listen and try to bring enemies to the table and ensure they would make compromisses!. But even in a peaceful country it is always good to listen to other people and then decide accordingly!.
At the end I would divide all land among the people and they can decide what they will do with it (with exceptions of course like brunung forrests etc!.)

I also would ensure that all capital is being divided by everybody so that every starts anew and fresh, esp!. the poor, but heavier tax on luxurious goods, which nobody needs anyway and esp!. if times, when other are starving!.

I would be fiscally conservative, but socially liberal!. I would try to spend as less money as possible on only the things we don't need!. Anything we would need, I would try to keep it as frugal as possible, so my country would be less dependent on other countries and more independent because our money would be staying in our country, rather than us having to borrow (much like the real life U!.S!. borrowing from China, Japan, etc!.)!. Socially, if they wanted to use stimulants (aka drugs) I would have no problem with it, but it depends on the stimulant!. If it is one similar to meth or crack, I would not allow the use of it, but ones such as alcohol, marijuana, etc!., to each his own as long as no one else is harmed!. The only laws that would be in place would be the ones most necessary, like protecting civil liberties and things like that!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would like to think I would be a benevolent ruler!. But the truth is that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!. No matter how hard I tried I think that i would be at least partially corrupted, even if I didn't want to be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would deny profiteers their license to operate!. I would start with those who make billions from or for oil companies!. I would however let them live outside of prison and let them pay for their board and room!. People who gouge the public are criminals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
