Assuming a naive attitude towards our understanding of the world can be a good in the search for the truth!. Assuming by this that one wants to understand the world in the way it's presented to the senses!. It actually is the only true to begin to search for knowledge because it means we are starting from that which is common to us all!.

There may be a practical benefit to being naive ("ignorance is bliss"), but this is more a tactical arrangement than an actual philosophy!.
