I assume indirectly your talking about Popper's theory of knowledge!. It's a good theory for the sciences but it's questionable when dealing knowledge that is valid regardless of sense data!. An example would be knowledge about your own existence, which your know to be true in some form or fashion, but this knowledge is not subject to being falsified!. However most knowledge can be found to be valid or invalid by seeing if we can find a contrary answer then the one expected!. The other big problem with assuming we only refine knowledge by finding something to be false is it assumes the concept of certainty in truth!. Is something true only when we have absolute certainty!? It seems like an impossible standard to live up to!. Why not hold truth is contextually certain within our sphere of knowledge but is always open to more refinement!. So we do know somethings to be true not just false!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We dont really know either for sure because neither can be proven, we have to trust our instinct and judgement and hope that the truth is real!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
