Question: Do the birds we see ever get bored or think about their lives!?

I was at the park and it was turning dark!.!. everyone was heading back home!. And these birds by the water were just there!.!. some just kind of frozen in one position looking regal !.!. just staring ahead, others pecking on the ground, the ducks swimming!. I wonder how they spend their night!? Do they ever get 'bored'!. Do they ever feel like they need 'company'!. I have seen many a lone bird!.!.just doing their own thing!. Do they stand there by the bank all night!? How do they do it!. Do they ever feel what the purpose of life is!? Do they 'think'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I always wonder about the same things!. I guess no one really knows the answers (maybe an animal psychic would have something to say about it!)!. I think they do get bored, because sometimes you see them start to chew or peck something or start a play-fight with their neighbor, just because there is nothing else going on (it appears)!.

I'm sure they like company too!. I've had neighborhood cats come running up to me just to say "Hi" (they don't know me as a food source)!. Did you know that turtles, in the wintertime, hibernate together in a big pile at the bottom of a pond, and nobody knows why (it's nothing to do with predators)!? Scientists are not all in agreement about why animals congregate in wintertime!. It might appear that they just like the company!.

I wish I could read their minds too!.
