Question: Car blinker not working!?
My left side blinkers on my pontiac stopped working!. They just stay lit when I turn on the left turn signal!. I have changed all the blinker bulbs several times and still can't get them to blink!. When I turn on my headlights the front left blinker does not even light up when I click the left blinker but I can still do the back blinker manually!. What do you think is wrong!. Could it be some kind of short!? I'm looking for a easy way out so I don't have to bring it to the mechanic just for a blinker!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

UNDER YOUR FRONT DASH YOU CAN FIND THE BLINKER CONTROL!. IT WILL PROBABLY BE SILVER AND ABOUT THE SIZE OF A YO-YO!. GO TO AUTO-ZONE AND HAVE THEM TEST IT FOR FREE!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am sure this is unintentional mistake because you sound genuine in your question the only problem you have posted it in the wrong category, it is here in philosophy instead of cars and transport section where you may get good advice about your car problem!. now back to your question, as you mentioned you tried changing the bulbs and still have the problem, i assume its a wiring issue and because job like that requires special equipments I think your best option is to take it to a car electrician!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are likely to get a philosophical answer not an easy out here!.

1!. You asked a mechanical question in philosophy, so your perceptions are skewed!.
2!. You think you are driving a pontiac!.
3!. The blinkers (both sides) stays lit but the left doesn't light up!.

Conclusion: There is nothing wrong with the blinkers!. You're thinking is the problem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
