In this life, our bodies are dieing signifying that our
spirits are imperfect!.
Death is the absence of perfection or truth as darkness is the absence of light!.
Life and true love belongs to that which is perfect, true and light!.

God first said: let there be light!

In this life as human beings on Earth in physical bodies,
we are in an in-between state of perfection and imperfection!.

Perfection, truth, and light is unity with God, others, and yourself!.
You can not have unity with the universe because the universe
has no personality or love in and of itself - it is just cold and dark!.

I hope that helped though it seems religious it is indeed
spiritual!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In order for a spirit to survive we have a divine need for interacting with others!. If we completely separate ourselves we will wither away and die like a plant which has not been given water!. We need to be nourished by other people, plants, animals, nature, water and so on!.

Complete separation would be complete obliteration of ones soul and physical body!.

In the movie "Cast Away" (starring Tom Hanks) is a great example of how the human spirit cannot be away from the energy of the living or objects (such as wilson the soccer ball)!. Of course this was only a movie and I am sure people die all over this world because of separation from the living energy!.

United we all are in energy and spirit, but many do not recognize this!. Is this eternal life!? Well, we physically die alone and then join the unity of those who have passed before us and those who will pass after us!. Yes, unity in this reasoning is eternal life with all other spirits!.

Peace!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do not subscribe to this!. If you are referring to a physical separation and a physical unity these are but transitory insignificant things!. Man is a social animal and he has , naturally , to be in a society !. If one chooses to separate himself from the others it is more for contemplation and introspection !. That does not amount to death!.
On a larger canvas of life and death , I feel, it is universal order that everything in the universe is in equal and opposite measure!. Light /darkness , Hot/Cold !.!.!.!.!. Life /Death!. Where one ends the other starts !. One has pass throught his gate alone !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is not what some of the religions teach!

It is in fact just the opposite!. Too much attachment with people or material is dissuaded!.

It is believed that separation from God is death and Unity is eternal life and the life should be lived so as to ultimately unite with the Supreme!

You may be speaking from social point of view!. But how unity could lead to eternal life!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I don't think just by separating yourself from others means death, and in no way does unity mean eternal life!. We already know you cant live forever!. What about a women who must separate herself from her husband because he abuses her!? That does not mean death but life in my opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Those that practice the ascetic life that seeks to bring the soul to full flower have found they must separate to do so!. Only when their soul has been perfected will they seek Unity!. So separation is a path to Unity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Make the best of it now-- Live and enjoy life!. Serve others and let others serve you!. Today hug your best friend, hug your dog or cat!. Smile and be happy!.
