I would say no as you could believe in a truth that isn't necessarily a fact!. Something being the truth is a personal thing where as something being a fact has to be backed up by evidence and the like!.

That's my take on it anyway!

A fact is that which is made so by ether empirical (by falsifiable, observable experience) or a priori (By its own meaning ie!. A man is married if he fulfils the criterion for being married)

If you are talking about a Truth, than you have to be positively sure it is true before you talk about it!.

Facts to me remain the same like basic math and general rules for reading and writing!. Where as truths are always changing, like i am sad today, "true"!. I probably will not be sad everyday!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
