Question: Do you believe in the concept of karma!?
Not necessarily in a strict spiritual sense of returning in another life, but do you think that people truly get what they deserve!? Good actions will return good actions to you, and bad actions returning bad actions!.

I just wonder sometimes, because there are some truly good-hearted people who are repeatedly victimized, and some really mean, unethical people who seem to get away with a lot, and actually enjoy their bad behavior!.

If there is no such thing as karma, is it worthwhile to live your life by the golden rule!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

also , what comes around, goes around!. In other words, yes people get back what bad things they have done to others!.

The karma principle of causality continuity is, again, very close to the truth of the repercussional synthesis of all time-space actions in the Deity presence of the Supreme; but this postulate never provided for the co-ordinate personal attainment of Deity by the individual religionist, only for the ultimate engulfment of all personality by the Universal Oversoul!.

Natural causation!. Mankind has been very slow to learn the material secrets of the interrelationship of cause and effect in the physical domains of energy, matter, and life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, i do believe in the idea of Karma!. Sometimes it seems that life is unfair to some people who have a good heart, but i'm sure they will be rewarded eventually, even if it takes a while!. And hopefully, the bad people will eventually get their punishment!. We dont necessarily have to live life by the golden rule anyway, but its worth trying to be a reasonable and fair person!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

**** happening to good people and vs!. I would actually compare their state of mind- who is happier, rather than who is richer for example!. It may make a bit more sense, but otherwise, no I don`t believe in karma- used to!. I believe that we learn or choose not to learn from our mistakes, in latter case we get hit on the head over and over again!. That`s kind of karmic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It does seem that what goes around comes around, at least in my life!.If i do something that is spiteful or hurtful to others it always comes back to bite me in the ***!. So yes to a point I guess karma happens!.
Yes it is worth trying to live the golden rule!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. Karma is the only thing that make sense!.
Like science!. Action = reaction!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good question but I really don't have an answer to that!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't believe in Karma per se!.

Since we've already suggested that reincarnation isn't a part of the discussion, I won't go there!.

Regarding then the question of whether we get what we deserve in this life--no, plainly we don't!. Firefighters save lives, yet struggle to make ends meet on their public salaries; pornographers like Bob Guccione and Hugh Hefner make multi-millions!. Teachers don't earn what they're worth; political appointees to clerical positions do (locally, there's a parking meter enforcement officer who's making more than most teachers)!.

Take it beyond the realm of money; how many devoted spouses have paid dearly in the emotional realm when their selfish partners divorced them!? What bad karma has been earned by the 9-month-old whose brutish father throws her against the garage door!?

In general, I buy the notion that "what goes around, comes around" and I try to do good in part for that reason!. But I don't necessarily expect that good to come around to me in equal measure!. I'm mostly operating according to the categorical imperative, as best I can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
