In philosophy, everything is subject to inquiry!. We question and cross examine everything, including food, in order to find truth in a matter!. One could start with the question; what food is best for my mind and body!? By asking what is best and not what is worst, we bring to light all the nutritious food instead of the junk foods!. In truth, we all put food through a philosophical inquiry before we eat!. If we didn't, we would not know that the milk was bad until it was too late!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There have been times in my life where I have wished I didn't have to take time out of my day to stop and eat because I was too busy and slowing down or stopping to eat just seemed like a big inconvenience for me!. That might be something to work with!.

Or, what about the whole idea of Having to eat as opposed to Wanting to eat!. We must eat to live and thrive or we will die, but what about people who claim they "just want to die"!? Do they ever stop eating and starve to death!? There are some who do (anorexia, but their goal is not to die, just to be thin), but most don't so this makes me think they truly don't want to die because cutting off their own food/water supply would surely accomplish what they wanted (although not in a timely or comfortable manner) Just something I thought I'd throw out there for you to consider!. Good luck on your paper!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Food plays a large role in religions, which are life philosophies, I guess!.
-What not to eat
-What to eat at certain celebrations
-When not to eat (fast)
In Buddhism vegetarianism is big

Sharing food is a big symbolic gesture!. In modern society one can take examples of food being a status symbol or globalisation (Mc Donald`s and crap)!. Mass produced food vs home cooked family meal!.
There is allot if you think about what you associate with different foods and what stands behind it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
