A true prophet is one who is given a word of knowledge from God and them does what God has instructed him to do with it!. In the bible there are all kinds of stories about the prophets of old!.

Bob Marley was a man and a musician!. Period!.
He was absolutely not a prophet!.

Prophets can foresee the future as God has shown them, and in order to know if they are truly from God, their prophecies must be correct 100% of the time, otherwise, they are false and a liar!. In fact, anyone who claims to see the future (including so called seers and psychics) are always proven to be liars and false since their predictions are never 100% accurate!. They may get some of their predictions right, but not all of them!.
