Question: Would you support the advancement of the human race!?

Would you go along if some one started killing all the weak people and leaving notes that said all the strong will be left, or would you protest this action and declare rite to life and whatnot!? And if somehow this killer did kill all the adult not old weak people and was supported, would you still ask for an end to the idiot, or just say the human race is getting stronger, Thank! to the killer!? Killing all the weak people hardly seems like a way to advance the human race to me!. Advancement comes from strong minds, not strong bodies!. But neither would I support the killing of weak minded people, because A, murder is simply wrong, and B, there wouldn't be very many people left!. :-)

Such a plan wouldn't be very well thought out because how strong a person is says nothing about how strong of an immune system he has, how strong his heart is, how likely he is to get unhealthily high cholesterol, etc!.

also, eugenics wouldn't work anyway!. First, bad traits can skip a few generations before surfacing!. Second, by culling the population, you are also reducing the gene pool!. Less genetic diversity means more opportunities for new defects to arise!.

The Nazis tried eugenics on a mass scale, and obviously the resulting supposedly "superior" people were not enough to win the war against us "normals"!. also, Pol Pot of Cambodia decided to exterminate all the intelligencia of his country soon after he took power!. This included anyone who merely _looked_ smart, including anyone who wore glasses!. Obviously, that was not a brilliant move either!. (If it was, would he have proceeded to execute himself!?)
