Our advancements in technology and communication have provided us with the pleasure of being inundated with half-truths, superfluous fluff, meaningless drivel, provocative irrelevancies and just plane BS!. (short for Britney Spears info, :-) ) Nothing new, but it does seem harder and harder to locate that kernel of truth under increasing tons of _________ (you fill in the blank)!. Are we in danger of eventually giving up on the arduous task of sifting through all the reams of data and either relegate ourselves to a world of fantasy and go watch "Wheel of Fortune" or simply accept as true whatever can spin the best labels and best market their product regardless of the best interest for our country!.
In a democracy we have the privilege and responsibility of making an informed choice, but if finding the critically necessary information to make that choice requires hours of work, are we in danger of missing "Deal or No Deal"!?!.
