Since autism has historically been extremely difficult to diagnose many people live their whole lives with it unknowingly!. Most people are simply labeled slow, antisocial, lazy, or even simple minded!. In some cases of autism the person has abilities which exceed those of the average!. In extreme cases these people are known as savants!. Auspergers syndrome is a form of infant/childhood autism that is easily misdiagnosed!. The child appears to be developmentally inadequate in most of their social and academic skills!. Fortunately many of these children "outgrow" the difficulties and lead productive lives!. In Einstein's case he was also found to have an abundance of neurons in his parietal lobe!. Whether this was the reason for his incredible math skills or were a result of his lifelong participation in physics is uncertain!.
