In my view we are always alone!. We love, and / or admire people, but we are never totally, perfectly understood, and we ourselves, never understand others totally!. We are trapped in our minds and limited by language!.
The ideal compromise would be to be in a relationship with someone who is conscious of this too!. You have the choice: you can either be openly single, and have moments of dependence on others, or attraction to others at various points in your life, or be in a relationship, and enjoy the benefits of companionship, but suffer from the frustration of mental loneliness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not at all - humans are sociable by nature, have a sex drive by nature (or so I presume) and have a need in fullfillment by nature - all this means: don't be lonely, don't be lonely, it's not healthy, it's not natural!.

I feel as that it so, even thought I have technically never done so!. Living with others seems to be a hindrance or an imposition on my own living habits!. Totally!. I'm in a relationship, he and I have been living together!.!.!.but I'm definately very secure, so if it came down to it and our relationship changed, I'd definately be ready to live alone for the rest of my life, if no one else entered back in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Living on my own doesnt mean i'm lonely!.
My definition of living on my own is to not have someone to be with (no marriage n living together stuff)!.

I think the reason is more --- genetic --- or something!. It's very deeply ingrained in us to "pair off"!.
