The brighter you are, the more intelligent questions you HAVE TO ask, the more critically you LISTEN to the ANSWERS and the more you must ANALYZE and try to locate this information in CONTEXT with what you ALREADY KNOW!. Then you must be able to RETAIN that information in order to BUILD on it so they must LEARN!.

The brighter you are, the more you realize that you don't know enough about anything so you HAVE TO ask more!. If you are brighter, then any incoming information has to be critically assessed!. Bright people are brighter because they are not arrogant they LISTEN to the answer, place it in their own framework of 'truths' A person with dementia may ask 'what time is it' every few minutes, they can not use this information, nor retain it, so they are no longer able to learn new skills and over time lose old knowledge and skills as the dementia progresses!.!.

So it may or may not be true depending on whether the above processes also occur!.

Gosh by that measure my intelligence quotient remains in kindergarten compared to the sqillions of attested brain cell outpourings others pour forth!. A wise one said I should ask questions, but I really cant think of any, my last few feeble attempts being further evidence of this!.

It does not depend on the quantity of the questions!.
It is about the quality of them!.
A bright person makes bright questions that help us think and answer accordingly!. A bright person can post many or not questions, depending on their mood and the things they feel like asking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no!. some people are bright just because they are determined to whatever they are doing!.

but if ur asking that if someone who asks a lot of questions is bright, then maybe!. since his mind can't really settle for something, he wants to know about everything!. a curious mind i guess!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Curiosity is a Hall mark of active mind !. But an Active mind is not necessarily a bright mind ! I will say intelligence is no indication of the number of questions you ask But depends on the quality of Questions :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
