There are some gifts that are generally considered to be of such quality, that even if one doesn't ask for them, to say one never wanted them is judged to be the worst form of ingratitude and conceit!. Yes, the parent and child are obliged to each other!. although, my preference is that most of the favor should flow one way: Down to the young, in the direction of the future!.
