For all I know and remember and understand, somatic ideas put the body of the man on a high position, the behavioral ones put the exterior on a high position and the attitudinal ones put the man's interior, like ideas and feelings, on a high position!. It's very true that I might be wrong!.
For all I know, the Presocratics were all about the environment!. I remember that I read somewhere that, in the history of the philosophy somewhere, they were accused that they were interested only in their exterior and didn't focus at all on the human and it's importance!.
So the first six dudes, I guess, are behavioral!. I don't know too much about Marx, but yes, I would but him as well in this category, because of his idea about the society, you know!.!.!. So his thoughts were about the environment!.!.!. (not like nature, as it was for the Presocratics, but about society, viewed as an organism!.)
Aristotle could be included also in this category cause of his book entitled 'Metaphisycs', and more of them, in which he tries to describe every beeing, as every existance, from colors to thoughts and principles!. His view was about the whole world, so it wasn't focused on the human or it's body!.
The Stoics were materialists!. Therefore, they have to be included in this category!. (Of course their etic was focused on the human's reason!.!.!. but this is just a chapter!.)
Socrate and Plato aren't materialists and their ideas are not somatic, as somatic means linked to the body!. And they're are more about life and ideas and stuff, especially Plato!. So I would include them in the attitudinal category!.
I don't know much about Thomas Aquinas, but I know he was a saint, as his name says!.!.!. so he, as Augustine have to be included in the attitudinal category!. Descartes is also focused on the human!. He said 'cugito ergo sum' which means 'I think, therefore I exist'!. He was all about human's mind and thinking!.!.!. so I would include him in the attitudinal category!.
U know Sigismund Freud!. This guy is certainly all about somatic ideas as he divided the human into consciousness, subc!. and unc!. So he was about the body!.!.!. So his ideas were somatic!.
Now, I've never heard about Pierre Teilhard but as I saw on the internet his ideas are somehow linked to St!. Augustine's!.!.!. so I would put him in the attitudinal actegory!.
I hope I'm not wrong!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure what kind of categories your teacher is having you place these into!. The first five, in my experience, has always been known as "pre-socratics"!. The next four are the "ancient philosophers"!. The next two are "Scholastic philosophers" also "medieval philosophers"!. The last five are "Modern Philosophers"!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
