The mirror only reflects what it sees, but we are more than matter that can be reflected by the mirror!. It doesnt see the pain behind a smile or the beauty behind the rags and it can't reflect the joy behind some tears!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes,the mirror never lies that's because it's our own reflection,if you could stand infront of the mirror and look straight into your own eyes and speak with confidence that means you are not hidding anything from anyone,otherwise you are trying to hide your own reflection from letting know the true colours of oneself!.Try this out it does wonders!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know about that!. Some days I get up and look in the mirror and think "Good morning, pretty lady, where did you come from" and other mornings I get up and gasp when I look in the mirror, wondering how I aged that much over night!!! For years I looked in the mirror, and didn't like what I saw!. I now realize I was seeing my parents, all of my flaws!. When someone told me I was beautiful- I couldn't IMAGINE what they saw in me!.

Actually mirrors do lie, even the best crafted mirrors in the world do not show a true "mirror" image of something!. So since literal mirrors can't provide true mirror images, I wouldn't trust this idea philosophically either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
