Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Happiness ensues from the recognition of truth because it can be acted out; it can be lived!.

Health, sanity, and happiness are integrations of truth, beauty, and goodness as they are blended in human experience!. Such levels of efficient living come about through the unification of energy systems, idea systems, and spirit systems!.

Is pleasure--the satisfaction of happiness--desirable!? Then must we live in a world where the alternative of pain and the likelihood of suffering are ever-present experiential possibilities!.

Of health and sanity weunderstand much, but of happiness we have truly realized very little!. The highest happiness is indissolubly linked with spiritual progress!. Spiritual growth yields lasting joy, peace which passes all understanding!.

Reason is the proof of science, faith the proof of religion, logic the proof of philosophy, but revelation is validated only by human experience!. Science yields knowledge; religion yields happiness; philosophy yields unity; revelation confirms the experiential harmony of this triune approach to universal reality!.

The Spirit within does not disregard the personality values of the egoistic motive but does operate to place a slight preference upon the altruistic impulse as leading to the goal of human happiness and to the joys of the kingdom of heaven!.

Our happiness is achieved only when the ego desire of the self and the altruistic urge of the higher self (divine spirit) are co-ordinated and reconciled by the unified will of the integrating and supervising personality!. The mind of us all is ever confronted with the intricate problem of refereeing the contest between the natural expansion of emotional impulses and the moral growth of unselfish urges predicated on spiritual insight--genuine religious reflection!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not all knowledge makes one happier!. Expanding your intelligence, is great though, if it's something you want to learn more about!. Knowledge tends to make people lose independence and freedom though, they may want to go jump off a bridge for the fun of it and know that they can't because they know it's against the law!. "You should know better" "I do, but I don't want to know better!."

It depends on the type of knowledge that is being taken in!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would agree that it would depend on the kind of knowledge you are acquiring!. Having a doctor tell you that you have a terminal illness and will die within 3 months is not knowledge that would make you happy!. It would however, put you in the frame of mind to get whatever it is you want to accomplish done, which might help you leave a little happier!. (if that's even possible)Www@QuestionHome@Com

knowledge makes you happier in the long run
say that your partner was cheating on you, it would be bliss if you were ignorant enough not to see it and you could still believe everything was perfect!. if you were knowledgeable and knew of the situation, then at first it would feel bad unlike ignorance but in time it would make you happier because you would (hopefully) move one to better things!.
get it!?

hope i helped! =]

Knowledge is undefined!.
If you could distinguish between 'what is knowledge' and 'what is not knowledge' I would be happy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
