We are all captivated and enamoured by a warm smile from a passing stranger, and are reminded to smile often at all who welcome such a gesture!.!.!.

It was recently remarked by a niece that I smile at all and luckily the world smiles back, something I consider being pleasant and courteos but she found a tad disturbing !.!.!.

The word "devour" is not appropriate to me! Rather I do welcome other people's smile as nourishment----in true sense, like a tonic! Even it makes me happy to see an unknown person smiling at his/her known person!. My day goes ruined when I face guys with irksome-face or guys with vexatious behavior, on my way to studio!.
I believe an idiom in Bangla (Bengali) that says:

I am reminded of this philosophy!.

The Value of a Smile:

It costs nothing, but creates much!.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give!.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever!.
None are so rich they can get along without it, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits!.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends!.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Natures best antidote for trouble!.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away!
And if in the last-minute rush for Christmas buying some of our sales people should be too tired to give a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours!?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!.

i don't think i'd go that far!.
i don't mean to sound patronising or anything,
but i don't think a smile is worth categorising as philosophy!.
however i do think that smiles make your day!.
i work at a restaurant and well, i seem to remember

Being with smiling people eases my fears and makes me think positive!.
