Yeah, they do!.
Humans are animals (the highest form) and they have feelings!.
Animals, when they are hunted, hides until the predator is gone because they are scared for their lives!.
An animal who has just given birth will leave her baby for a while to hunt for food because she cares for her new born!.
A dog will run and leap as if they were glad everytime we come home after a long day's work because they miss us and they recognize us as their best friend!.
A mother bear who has just lost her young can be heard crying, lamenting her lose!.
I know it doesn't sound normal and many will disagree, but i don't think it's just insticts alone!. Man cannot cry, or be sweet just because the world is demanding it from him, but because he's hurt or really loves someone!. I think same goes with animals!. They won't hang around with you if you beat them up everytime!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most animals don't have emotions - they react to instinct (they will get become aggressive if someone is hurting them etc) and don't think about consequences!.

In saying that some animals do show emotion!. Elephants for example cry when one of there herd die!.

When it comes to love the only other animal in the world besides humans which have sex for pleasure are dolphins, most animals have sex to have offspring - and don't love each other!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely!. I grew up with pets and I've seen it!. I've seen their love and the sensitivity in their eyes!. I saw them become attached to people and other animals!. I've seen them cry (dogs) and I've seen them get excited!. Actually, cats do this meow-cry thing!. My cat was really attached to me and would cry outside my bedroom door all the time!. I've seen so much emotion in her eyes it's crazy!. One of my ex's chihuahuas gets angry all the time!.!.!.and another one is really protective and sensitive, while I'm fairly certain another has anxiety!. Animals have psychological distress just like people do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh please do not be deceived by people that would tell you they o not have emotions!. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat now, have had 4 more that lived to old age and each one of their precious hearts was different!. Child like in the sense of level of curiosity, devotion, fears--!. Fears of the dark, of being alone!. Each one understood the other ones mood!. And the most honorable emotion of all was their ability to interpret my mood!.

They truly, truly are a blessing as well as mans bff forever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's just one thing I don't understand about people!. It takes a really arrogant person to look/play with a dog for like 20 minutes and then say, "No, only humans have emotions! God gave them to us! It's God's gift to us!" Lol, anyone who raises a smart dog can tell that yes, dogs and other animals do have emotions!. I used to have a really loyal dog and when I left her at home for more than a day, even though my family was around, she'd get really depressed!. And as soon as I'd return, she'd be hyper and jumping all over the place as if I never left!. There's plenty of scientific evidence to not just suggest, but prove that animals do have emotions!. Just do a search for scientific evidence for emotions in animals and I gauruntee that within an hour you'll have plenty of evidence to prove beyond a doubt that animals do have emotions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, they do!. Dogs do at least!. Even though an animal doesn't have a soul, it somehow seems to show emotions!. Day after day I can tell (somewhat) of what my dog is feeling!. When I walk out the door, he'll have a sad look on his face like "please don't go!." An animal will snarl if it gets angry and sometimes show it by ignoring you!. You can tell an animal loves you because it would run away when you took him/her out if it didn't love you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'm an animal lover, and I'm going to have to say no!. I think they recognize pain from pleasure because it's simply their instinct and can't help but react a certain way!. I don't think they have emotions!. That's one of the things that seperates us people from animals!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!.
When they are sad they carry their tail between their back legs!.
When they are happy or excited they bounce around with their tail wagging!.
When they are angry they growl and show their teeth!.
When they are hurt they whimper (cry)!.
Www@QuestionHome@Com
