If you look at the things that make one religion different from another one, it is just the things like homophobia or mysogeny!. No religion just has things like be kind to others and eat your vegetables!. There is always some type of discrimination going on that makes Us better or more moral than You!. Religion is just entrenched ignorance!. There is no excuse for homophobia, especially in a religion because then you're teaching it to others as the right thing to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

people are homophobic because they are scared of something they do not understand!. religion is often used as a tool or weapon against things that some people are scared of!. sadly this is not religion's fault but religion tends to get the rap for it just like guns get the blame for all the people that are killed by them!. we should place the blame where it belongs, on the people who are small minded and that have no grasp of their own religion!. all religions that i have ever heard of talk about loving others and being good to your neighbors!. in this should be tolerance!. in my opinion as long as a person is not infringing on my freedoms i do not care what they do!. it is that person's choice to live what most religions say is a sinful life but if anyone ever looked at the rest of that passage they would find that being greedy, fat, and vain is also considered just as bad as being a homosexual!. if we all can be forgiven for those sins and no one is angry at people for them why do we pick on people who's natural response is just different!? tolerance is what is needed for a peaceful America because that is what it was built on!. Homosexual acts have been rejected by every culture from the beginning of man kind!. It will never be accepted as a normal sex act, all the ranting will not change that which is in error!. It has been in recent times, as religions are exposed by the secular movement, that perversion in mans culture are more tolerated now then in the past!. This is not an indicator of acceptance of the act only an acceptance of the one in error making the error!. It is an indicator of a maturing culture not a decline in culture values!.

We should not over look the fact that the possibility of mistaken judgment (evil) becomes sin only when the human will consciously endorses and knowingly embraces a deliberate immoral judgment!.Undiluted evil, complete error, willful sin, and unmitigated iniquity are inherently and automatically suicidal!.

absolutely!. The bible actually speaks very little about homosexuality, yet mainstream christians seem hyperfocused on targeting homosexuals and restricting their civil liberties!.

Infidelity is mentioned four times as many times as homosexuality in the bible!.!.!.what would happen if the government stepped in and revoked people who'd either been unfaithful, or who'd been divorced, right to marry!?

Most strict religions will have some say against anything that causes enjoyment and distraction from absolute loyalty!.

We have free will because we are reflections of our father!. How we chose to use it is "the" choice we have for every now that we are here!. Will we seek to reflect his perfect light with a spotless mirror or will we choose to reflect our ego!?

It seems to me that what we do with our appendages is a distant second to what we do with our mind, soul, and spirit!.

Sex seems to be a very powerful and base tool of ego!. Maybe if we weren't grasping for approval or conquest that the ego requires of us to feed its needs, we might be happier!. Are we truly happier as people because of any act that we do with our bodies!? Or is happiness interdependent on a connection with the universal mind that causes all things to move from potential to form and consciousness!?

As far as Homosexual life goes; yes there are enough people, if not too many, on earth and our "species" will continue without any need for further donation from even large segments of earth’s population!. That as a given though, it seems clear that our genetic line with all of its uniqueness’ and beauty is served best, under current understanding, by procreating!. This is currently and historically only possible when opposite sexual partner’s couple!. So, if one is inclined to maintain a life time of ardent loyalty to homosexual sex it seems a form of genetic suicide to me!. Please correct me if I am wrong!. My intention is not judgmental but rather factual!.
If, in fact it is a form of suicide then how can one ever truly be happy or even love and appreciate themselves, much less anyone else!. It would require a smoke screen of delusion constantly maintained by our ego to not realize this truth!.
