By hegemony do you mean the domination of one person/group/class over another!? Or are you referring to an ideological hegemony!?
If the latter, then I'd say that existentialism is already the hegemonic ideology of our age!.
If the former then I'd say probably not!. Examine Nietzsche's philosophy and we see that his 'superman' (übermensch) desires to reach the top of the pile and is supremely powerful and authoritative!. Sartre too tells us to embrace the power of our own choices which may include dominating others!. Existentialism is by no means necessarily married to notions of equality and fairness (although it obviously can be!.!.!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
