Question: Morality and influence!. Change!?
I think I need to be more specific!.

Do you think, that reading a book by Friedrich Nietzsche or something of that sort, and being a Christian, will eventually change you!?
Is thinking that you will not be changed by listening to music or reading a book, etc, deemed blasphemous will eventually make you a bad person, or in time make you question your own beliefs!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends!. I love Nietzsche, he's my fave philosopher!.

You are mistaken if you think that reading something written by him is going to make you change, since being interested in his books and reading his work is a decision you've already made, and that means much more than what you're going to read!.

Same thing happens with music, when a teenagers start listening to a band that is considered "blasphemous " like Marilyn Manson he's doing that because he's trying to understand and assimilate a previous condition, such condition is not caused by the music itself, even though it might've been repressed and that's why other's never saw it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Who you are and what you believe are what make you, you!. But sometimes our faith must be questioned, this is a natural part of existence and help us to further define ourselves!.

So, while yes, I think it will question our beliefs, I find this question to be a good thing to build knowledge and faith on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on who you are!. People are different and they feel that different things influence you!. people will always think that someone is bad!. My uncle, aunt and sister think I'm bad!. never give me a chance!. back to the point!. You alone decide whether you will change because of something!. Nothing else can make that decison for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're obviously too smart to be religious!. Everything in the real world will make you doubt your beliefs!. After all are they really YOUR BELIEFS!? or just the ones you were taught!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
