English is such a crummy language when it comes to good words to express yourself!. In koine (common) Greek there are 3 words for each different kind of love!.
Eros is passionate, romantic love-a burning fire inside (hence the word erotic) that can quickly fizzle out!.
Philia is brotherly love between family and friends!.
Agape is the kind of love a parent has for his or her child , spouses have for each other, or God has for his people-love in your best interest, a self-sacrificing kind of love!.
I think in a new marriage, it starts as eros, but moves toward agape in a healthy, committed relationship!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My interpretation of love is really differnt from even my other interptritations!.

You can love the cookie you're eating!.

You can love your sister!.(Some of the time!.)

You can love a guy or girl!.

each of them uses the same words, but i think of them as different!. I think that a love for a spouse can be the most powerful thing on earth!.

I think that you love your sibling so much, you could care less what you say to her,because you know that you are always gonna be sisters!.No matter what!.

You really like the cookie, and could go for another one, until you see what it does to your hips!.

I've come to understand 'love' as caring more for another than oneself!.!.and 'lust' as caring more for oneself than another!.!.!. Add romance to it and many most often think about 'sexual' which, in reality, is a lower percentage of any given relationship rather than 'companionship' which is a much higher percentage of the relationship!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
