Question: Can a person ever be truly described as "perfect"!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Perfection requires definition for man to seek its goal!. First define your ideal of perfection, its attributes, virtues qualities and why YOU deem them to be perfect in an imperfect world!. Then write about what is imperfect about the world and the causes then you will gain an understanding of what perfect is and will be more likely placed to reach it!.

Pessimists refuse to acknowledge that perfection can exist!. Recognising it exists is a large part of that journey, so you’re nearly there …

Depends on who is describing the person!. If a mother calls her newborn perfect, it's true!. To her, for that moment in time, that child is perfect!. I think the same can be said for anyone who really loves someone else!. When I think someone I love is perfect, they are!. At least to me!. If someone is able to make me so happy how can I not think of them as perfect!? When I'm truly happy I see none of there flaws so I truly see them as perfect!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

NO!.!.!."Perfect" like beauty is in the eye of the beholder!. What is the definition of 'perfect'!? Too many to list!.

No one is perfect but a lot can come close to being one, but only a person can actually label themselves perfect if that is what they want!.

To me, I believe, I am close to being perfect only because I don't have any regrets about the actions I've taken in the past or those I will take in the future!. Too many people see perfection from the outside and too many haven't even come close to seeing 'perfection' from the inside; the heart!.

If I was to base 'perfection' on something, it is unconditional love and kindness!.!. (Like Mother Teresa)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why cannot you say that a person is perfectly themselves!?

Perfect is a word that really doesn't mean much!.

Is it used to mean some unobtainable goal or is it simply a description of whether they satisfy some set of requirements!? People switch back and forth as to how they use the word!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perfection is achieved when you have done your very best!. Each of us has capacity and capabilities which when used to the fullest, that is perfection!.

"Be you perfect, even as I am perfect," which ever urges mortal man onward and beckons him inward in that long and fascinating struggle for the attainment of higher and higher levels of spiritual values and true universe meanings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perfection is a mathematical satisfaction, there is no universal "standard" of perfection, it is subjective and perceived differently by people!. You might think someone is fit for the description, while others think otherwise!.

Since it is a subjective concept, my answer is yes but it cannot go "beyond" your perspective!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. Even Jesus, when on the cross, sinned as He questioned His father and said "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me!?" So even Jesus wasn't quite perfect, if you believe the Bible as the true word of God, of course!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
