Because it implies most of the language we use is meaningless, especially about art and emotions and such, because they are not tautological and can't be empirically verified!. But most people would protest that such language that we use all the time definitely is meaningful as people communicate effectively using it!.

The principle also renders itself meaningless as it does not fulfill its own criteria, since the principle is neither tautological nor can be verified by an appeal to emperical evidence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
