Question: What do you think "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" means!?
I've always wondered what this means, I've seen it on signs at several protests, as well I've heard it in the songs by the Killers but I never quite understood what's the meaning behind these words!. I also recently just saw Nike use this quote in their commerical!. Does anyone really know what it means!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Soldiers have rules, discipline and are willing to die for what's right!.

Having soul but not wanting to be ruled, held down or die is probably where I'd take that idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"I'm a good person but I'm not willing to fight in wars!."

It's cool, even admirable, as many Western wars are fought for reasons counter to the inclinations of the citizens!.

However, sometimes a really nasty situation develops, and it's not so easy to say no to fighting as a soldier!.

"Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War," Buchanan, is great for showing how wars such as WWII were really unnecessary!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well i would say it means you have life but your not controlled!. a soldier is whats made from a vessel!. someone gives up their "soul" id say life!. to be made into a lean mean killing machine!. some people say a soldier is nothing more then a pawn!. i could be way off thoughWww@QuestionHome@Com

As one with a human soul, cannot be a soldier, one who goes to war upon the commands of a Commandeers, as being a soul prohibits the senseless need to do harm to other soldiers similarly ordered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
