The Trocadero, in Paris, with the Musee d'Art in the background, and the shadow of the tower falling across the water, there is the sound of children giggling and splashing in the water, as their mothers call to then in laughing french from the grass!. I sit, eyes closed, in the shade of a statue, my weary feet cooling in the ice cold water, while she lies in the sun behind me, smiling in sunglasses and her blue dress, her hand in mine!. It's not really my happy place, it's really hers, her happy place is the Trocadero, mine is wherever she is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Whenever life gets just a little too much for me
I have 'secret places' that I visit!.

I have been going to these places since I was a child!.
Now that I am an adult they are like old friends to me!.

I know when I set my feet on a certain path
I have taken the first step to clearing my mind!.

Mid way through I find a private spot,
Sit down and let my mind wander!.

I look at the trees, plants, animals, birds, and the sky!.
All these things bring life back into perspective for me!.

I let the sounds of nature become natural music
To drowns out all worrying thoughts of the day!.

The sun hits my face recharging me with new energy!.

Everything in nature is positive, un-spoilt,
Ever-changing and ever constant in it’s renewal!.

It reminds me nothing is truly permanent
Like nature, life is ever changing and renewing!.

No matter how dark the night, daylight surely follows!.

When I return from my walk I feel happy and calm;
Able to face what brought me to nature in the first place!.
