What do you think of people who feel like the world's going to end any day n

Question: What do you think of people who feel like the world's going to end any day now!?

I find them the most not down to earth!. I mean I used to think like that when I was a little kid!. Even thought I controlled the weather but as I got older I completely grew out of it and am not like that at all anymore!. Me thinking like that ended completely when I was about 15 but does this kind of thinking continue for alot of people into their adult life!? It sure seems like it to me!. What's your thoughts about why people are so doomsday oriented!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe people are just tired of control!. Maybe we're subconsciously hoping an apocalyptic event is nigh; something out of our control, something written in time, something to prove we have a greater purpose and something to give our lives a greater meaning than the mundane, zombie lives we are currently living!.

We want to suffer into truth!. An apocalyptic event may be our only justification for unfathomable suffering and our only hope for some glimpse into the essence of life!. In the mirror presence death, as I've heard people describe, we are given the reflection of life!. The innate dualism!. We're too comfortable with our lives!. As immoral as this may sound, we all desire something chaotic once in a while!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think everyone is free to feel how they please!. Although it may sound silly to most that doomsday is right around the corner, it's actually a factual statement!. When you die, it's doomsday! But for those who are thinking of an apocalyptic doomsday, just imagine this!. If there really is a doomsday, then there really will be a "day before doomsday"!. And let's just say today was that day, well, i guess that those who believe in it won't sound too crazy after all!. Just a thought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe the reason why people think such negative thoughts is that they live in a negative environment and let media influence them!.
There are many other reasons why people think the world is ending!.

I imagine they take the end of the world very personally!. If you think about it, it's scary stuff!. Scary is fascinating and I imagine it gives them a sense of purpose in a world where purpose is hard to come by!. I don't like to think about the end of the world!. I'd rather just have it happen!. They could be right, and partially are!. The world as we know it is constantly changing!. Tomorrow the war could end, or it could involve every country in the world!.!.!.World War III could break out and torture us all!. Tomorrow a volcana could erupt and take out a major city, or a tidal wave could drown a country!.!.!.we don't know!.

also, if the world is going to end anyday, then those who believe that should or already are living everyday like it's their last which everyone should do because for all we know, it could be!. That's honorable, and inspirational!.

I do find that the whole World Ending Anyday Now thing is a bit unrealistic, but if that's what people believe, then fine, why not have their little fun with it!? They shouldn't take it as far as my Uncle did though, he called my family up and told them all to move to Puerto Rico!.!.!.which would be the only safe place left!.!.!.he moved, we didn't!. In my opinion, people can think whatever they want!. I'm don't care if my friend thinks she's going to die tomorrow!. There are a lot of things worse than death though, and is the end of the world really so bad!?
We are going to die one day anyways, and if everyone is dieing with you, then you really have nothing to live for!.
But I do believe Global Warming is going to start becoming a seious problem!. We do need to take action and flick off our lights as much as possible, because that is something we can control!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They want something FINAL to happen so they do not have to live life and deal with it's daily challenges!. They just do not want to commit suicide!. Let something bad happen and - poof - problems are over!.

There thoughts are more or less justifiable, seeing all the natural disasters and the threat of global warmimg!.
Not that I agree with them, but some people just aren't very optimistic when faced with numerous world changing phenomenoms!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
