Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I don't really let things go in the sense I no longer remember them!. I may look at things differently, or change their priorities, but I can never really turn off it's memory!. When I finally accepted this within myself, I began to feel better overall!. I once attended an Easter Morning sunrise service outside in a beautiful park!. As each of us arrived, we were given a white helium balloon on a string to hold!. At the end of the service, which talked about personal freedoms in faith, we were asked to hold our balloons up and release them into the sky all at once!. It was a sight to see and this simple gesture had a large impact on my soul!. I realized I was never going to "erase" some pains of my past, but I can surely make them lighter to where they can float to the heavens and not weigh down my heart!. To this day, when I am feeling really down, I will buy a white helium balloon and stand on a hill somewhere and release it while smiling through a prayer of thankfulness!. It's a liberating way to breath more deeply!. Www@QuestionHome@Com There is a time and a place for everything, even a right moment to let go!. Sometimes we have to learn to let go even when we don't want to!. My life so far has proved that I tend to hold on past the point where it was time to let go, but realizing afterward that letting go was the right thing!. There are so many parameters defining the right time!.!.!.!. Even if it is the perfect time for us, it could be that it was not so perfect time for others who might participate on that case!.!.!. Only very rarely the right , the real right time shows!.
