Revenge is tempting, there is no doubt, but, it's empty in the long run and foolish!. The best lessons learned are not from having "I told you so's" smooshed into your face from another who gets off on feeling superior!. The best thing is to seek valid punishment for the offense or simply hold your head up high in defiance and rebellion as a defense to and offensive attack!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

When it's called "revenge" the purpose is to put them in their place or to show your superiority!. If your goal is to teach a lesson of life, revenge is not the goal!. There's a difference between education and revenge!.
This reminds me of my mother's attitude toward hitting a child who had misbehaved!. She was not against hitting a child in order to teach a lesson, but felt that such corporal punishment should not be done in anger!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Revenge won't teach them a lesson!. Revenge is a lack of pride and it's your way of saying "I want this to happen to you so you will have the same bad results that I went through"!. Revenge will only teach the wrong lesson in life; be the bigger person, the wiser person that always means what they say!. Then all you have to do is try to tell this person a life lesson!. If they refuse to listen to you, it will be there lost in the end anyway, when they learn themselves, right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'm down with teaching people lessons, but not with revenge, nor setting out purely with the intent of looking superior to someone!.

revenge is likely t oachieeve the opposite!. because basically you're trying to tell someone not to do something by doing that thing!. which doesn't make much sense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My my!.!.!.!.!.!.you again!? Sounds like you're going through a rough time!.

I'm not certain I would call this revenge, but there is no better feeling than telling someone how "it really is" and put them in their place!.

Does this make you feel superior to them!? I'm not sure, but I know it can always make you feel a little better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My Mom always taught me to be 'sickening nice' to someone who wronged me!. They're expecting a negative reaction from you, and when you don't give that to them, they don't know how to react!. Usually they say sorry for what they did and just move on!. Worked when I was a kid and still works today!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Forgive and You shall be Forgiven! Worry is like a Fire lit under you all the time!. Revenge is worry of the worst kind!. Avoid it and Peace will be with You Always! Superiority is a complex of Inferiority!. Avoid it and Peace will be with You Always!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Revenge assumes vengeance, or lack of forgiveness!. you can't teach someone without forgiveness and holding a pure concept of who they are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
