It is really hard question, I do not know!.!.!.I was born totally healthy!.!.!.Thank God!.!.!.

But I think being a deaf is more difficult!.Because deaf people can not hear and they can not talk!.!.!.

I was born pronounced healthy in every way!. Now I have an eye disease and the possibility of being blind is very real!. If I could chose between deafness and being blind, I would opt for my eyesight!. I have seen so many beautiful sights and so glad I have had sight all these years!. How can you replace seeing your baby for the first time and mother and daddy's faces, and watching your children grow up!? The list goes on and on!. I am thankful I have seen so many precious sights and feel bad for those who are born blind and never seen a rainbow and all the glorious sights!. If I couldn't hear I would still miss many sounds and voices but could still manage to live a life with goodness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I suppose I would have to say, that it might, or, would all depend on whether, or, whether not you were born that way, (one way or the other blind or Deaf), whether you had one or the other senses, or, had both and lost one!. if you were born with out one or the other, then you could maybe adapt or strenghten the other sense, on the other hand if you were to lose one, then, even though possible, might be harder to inhance the other one, and even then that would depend on when / how old you are, and how old you lose that one sense!.!.!.
so from one point of view I would have to say to what i would rather be better of with out, I would say, maybe, being Blind, if i weren't born that way, cause that way, I would still know what everthing is, in colour, and shapes etc, etc, etc, but think I'd be a bit more lost without Sound!.!.!. I think being blind is worser because you are really unaware of what is around you and you cannot see the danger coming!. While, being deaf, you can see things coming and avoid accidents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on the adaptability of the person in either case!. Neither is a good thein, but some people do not need sight to function while others do well as a deaf person, so no better or worse, just adaptability!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For humans, being deaf is not as bad as being blind!. Humans main way of knowing what is around them is their eyes!. If it were for a dog, deaf would be worse, because they rely on their ears more than their eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wear hearing aids in both ears but am not totally deaf yet although I may be one day!. Since I was not born deaf, I can read and think in words, so as long as I can see, I will be able to read and watch TV with the captions!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me, blind would be better!. At least you could still hear what's going on around you, other people's voices, your own voice, music!.!.!.etc!. That would be way better than living in complete silence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
