Question: Why do we judge others when we don't like to be judged ourselves!?
Why does this happen!?

It's so easy to judge others, but when we are judged, we get offended and hurt!.

Is it selfishness!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because we'd LIKE to Believe that we're "better" than Others!.!.!. When in REALITY- we're JUST as Human, and JUST as Hypocritical!.!.!. So You can call it "Selfish, or Human, or Judgemental, or Whatever!.!.!." -But what it REALLY Is- is that we can't look Ourselves in the Eyes, in the Mirror!.!.!. :(Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a combination of selfishness and just complete hypocracy!. It's a natural reaction of people to judge people from the first impression they get from the person's appearance!. The selfishness plays in because everyone wants to tell someone whats wrong with them, but no one wants to hear what's wrong with themselves, y'know!? also obviously very hypocritical, because anyone who judges others should be able to take criticism themselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The same reason we punch others/ kick others/ switch out the sizes in sweat suits or shoes and leave someone else with the wrong size that they won't check until they can't fit it/ start wars/ gossip about others and do all of the other things we do to others and won't like done to ourselves!.

It's just not as simple as selfishness!.

If someone is in the death chair I'm sure it wouldn't be considered selfish despite the fact that probably all of the people that put them there wouldn't want to be there themselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you've simplified the scenario just a tad too much!.

People LOVEEE to be judged when the judgement is good!. I personally can't get enough of that :] therein lies my point of view!.

We all judge eachother the same amount and we all like being judged the same amount; we just personally get offended when someone is critical of us!.

Why!? We judge other people as a means to decide whether they're worthy of our clique/group/friendship/trust etc!. When we have judged someone favorably and they judge us unfavorably, we get offended because we want them to part of our group or want to be part of theirs!.

If someone i judged to be bad judged me to be bad, i wouldn't care at all cause i dont like them to begin with!.

thats what i think :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

We do this beacuse it's human nature no matter how hard some of us try not to judge it happens occasionaly!. When we get bashed we feel the need to do it back when we get the chance beacuse we felt offended and we want that person(s) to feel just as put down as we did, like a sort of subtle revenge that will somehow balance the scales and equal out our hate and anger, it's quite sad really thats why it's important to keep an open mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on how other people judge you!. If they don't think highly of you then you feel that they are unfair to you and you start looking down on them too!. It is a vicious circle, so to avoid it you either stop worrying about how other people judge you OR start being nice to others even if you are faking it !Www@QuestionHome@Com

Judge me all you want, I'm not here to please you, make you happy or impress you!. I could care less what people think, If you don't like me then don't look at me!.

That's my opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's called ego darlin!. We all have it and it controls every one of us to one degree or another!.
However a healthy ego will neither judge nor flinch when judged!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is easier to look at someone else and put them down to turn the attention away from yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We evolved that way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
