I have never been left a letter to read after someone's death, and I have never written a letter to anyone to read on the unfortunate incidence of my death!.

However, I think it is a good idea, and could bring many people closure!. Unfortunately, we live in a world filled with strangers!. Even so, some live in the same house with us, and also are blood relatives!. They are strangers as some people never get to that comfortable level of communication in which they can share their deepest secrets, fears, desires, etc!.!.!. And if we never get to that place to express this verbally to those people we love, the next best thing is to share it in written form!. Yes, this is something we should do everyday - express our feelings to those we care about, but people just don't!. They are scared, and worry about rejection!. So, if anything else, leaving these words we always wanted to say and share is a way of expressing our closure and letting someone inside, even though our physical life and soul has passed on!.

I agree with the first persons concept, but not in result!.

you just have to ask yourself, are you better off saying something later, or not at all!? The answer seems pretty obvious!.

also, I think that a letter left would give confort to the reader and even closure in certain situations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that's kinda dumb quite honestly!. It's either full of good things that you should have said but didn't or it's full of bad things that you were too cowardly to say and you're just trying to get the last word!. If you have something to say to someone, do so when you're still alive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
