'soemthing wrong' is different depending on who you are, waht your culture says your values are etc!.

There's way too many people who refuse toexplain themselves!.

Theyt don't want to do this because they want to say, "This is it!. End of story" That's a very selfish attitude!. They doh't want it to be up for debate because they feel entitled to do what they want!.

It's not that hard to explain yourself, and I think it's a courtosey thing anyway!. If you don't want to explain yourself, you're probably wrong!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In a way, yes it is a waste of time--because their interpretations are their own--I heard a great quote about this topic:
"What you think about me is none of my business!."
I agree, that it can be frustrating if someone takes an opinion regarding you that is way off base!. It can be hurtful when you know yourself to be a person of character!. However you'll never be able to control what others think of you!. Some people will like you--some won't!. After all, there are folks out there who didn't like Mother Theresa!
It's ok to speak your piece (peace) of course, but once you've said it, it's best to move on if it isn't accepted in the manner in which you delivered it!.

In many cases, there is no reason for you to put any energy and effort into convincing someone to believe something about you!. If the other person does not have enough interest and sincere vision to see you for who you are, then even the slightest effort, will be wasted!.

Yes, I certainly think it is!. You're never going to satisfy the whole world!.
