Position:Home>Philosophy> Is it true that when it rains it pours?Question: Is it true that when it rains it pours!? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think all of it depends on what one considers rain!? There is a say about walking in the rain, though I can't remember the exact words right now, however the comparison is the troubles of life as in the say you have quoted!. Now I walk around Milan often in the rain as the locals hussel and bussel with there umbrellas, (strange that they never use them for there original propose, the heathen sun worshippers that they are ;-))) But for me this is not rain, I have walked in the RAIN in many sense, But every now and again the sky open and the heavens come down at that point I will admit to that fact the it is in fact raining! Of course others will say that it is pouring! So the meaning can be read as this!. The small drop of life's little pains are easy born, but when they become too much then it is rain and rain is something that pours, not spitter spats! So when it pours it rains, at least for me ;-))Www@QuestionHome@Com A perpetual cycle of photosynthetic regeneration!. So it's all relative, really!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Not by definition, light rain is not pouring rain!. Heavy rain= pouring rain!.
