when it comes to label people!?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I label people with "ignorant" when they pretend to have a lot of knowledge!.!.!.

And I don't like to label peole, but sometimes, geez!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Knowledge is almost limitless and it is most unfair and inaccurate to label someone as 'ignorant', in a general sense!. But if it is related to something very specific and he is wrong, then it is technically correct to say he is wrong, ignorant or isnt knowledgeable of such a matter!.
Not really strong terms, but just definitions of two extremes of knowledge!. For convenience one would use 'ignorant' rather than 'un-knowledgeable', though most people just hate the former label!.

Usually a person who possesses a sense of insecurity would like to show off that he is knowledgeable and another isnt!. He doesnt also have sufficient confidence to realize his own worth, thus needs to put others down either through insults or to claim that the other party is ignorant!. Such a person will often sound and appear to be not only aggressive, immature, or unforgiving but also mean, shallow-minded and conniving!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't use them freely at all!. Labeling is bad!.!.!. that's an absolute I'm very comfortable with!. And as a rule, I don't judge others unless I possess the quality I'm judging in abundance!.!.!. strangely this has never happened!. =P

Sometimes, though, I feel I'm fortunate enough to be able to say 'it seems like X doesn't know Y' or 'it seems like X has a good handle on Y'!. Because that seeming is all I know!.!.!. ya know!? :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think that 'ignorance' is such a strong term!. It's like saying 'air' is a strong term: it's all around you, and you can't escape it even if you try!.

'Knowledge', however, is pretty strong!. You have to be proactive in obtaining knowledge, really work at it!.

Ignorance comes free, at birth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What if I labeled myself "ignorant"!?

no, I don't think it has anything to do with feeling insecure!. Sometimes we act out of intelligent and sometimes out of ignorance!. Besides what might seem ignorant to you for that specific moment, might seem a very smart act to another person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well "knowledge" is not a strong word!. It describes an individuals level of understanding of a subject!.

And "ignorance" is the trait of not caring about truth or knowledge!.

How are either of these "strong" words!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No because when i do label someone as ignorant it is because it is true!. I do not band such words as ignorant around willy nilly, but when i use them i know their meaning and intend what i say!. The same goes for knowledge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ignorance seems the way of the 'samsara confused world', and Knowledge is what we ought to all seek if nothing else but to try and put and end to it!.!.!. I know quite a lot of ignorant people and am getting quite sick of it!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's like you took the words right out of my ignorant mouth!.

I could never get away with calling someone that!.!.or even spell knowledge right without spell check!.!.

(gawd can someone throw me some self-confidence over here, I am starting to annoy own self)Www@QuestionHome@Com

i only call people ignorant if they actually are!. so no i feel no insecurity whatssover when i label someone that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't like labeling someone as "ignorant" unless he's a friend & knowledgeable enough to understand the humor of the label!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Such labels are temporary pending evidence to the contrary!.

Willful ignorance should never be encouraged!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.as freely as typing another response!.!.!.
!.!.!.no insecurities at all, if i said it, i believe it!.!.!.
!.!.!.its all about being responsible!.!.!.and accepting that responsibility!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
